Fox West 50

The Fox West 50 is considered one of the charitable arms of the Chamber and got its start in 2020 when several community organizations were in desperate need of assistance. The group that makes up the Fox West 50 are Chamber members, individuals and businesses that desire to make a difference in our community. Each member of the Fox West 50 commits to supporting a nonprofit, business start-up or community initiative each quarter through a $50 donation. Because collectively, $50 can change a life!

How does it really work?

Each quarter has a theme. It could be a local nonprofit, a business start-up, or a program dedicated to youth. The committee seeks out nomination applications based on the theme for that quarter. Once all applications are received, the committee reviews all applications and chooses two organizations or causes to attend that Quarterly Giving Meeting and present to the members of the Fox West 50. Each cause is given 10 minutes to present and extra time allotment for questions and answers. Once each cause has had the opportunity to present, the members of the Fox West 50 will choose a recipient of the funds. Equally important to the Fox West 50 is that the nominees are showcased through Chamber events, word of mouth and social media.

Please note, you do not need to be a member of the Fox West Chamber of Commerce to participate in this group either as a member making the donation or the organization presenting.
